Why Sujit Choudhry’s role as a constitutional expert remains to be significant

For over a decade, Sujit Choudhry has demonstrated his knowledge as a legal expert through various platforms. One of the recent platforms is a discussion of experts on the Ukraine government’s semi-presidential structure. Among the notable experts that joined him in the deliberations was Sumit Bisarya from International IDEA, the president’s advisor and Vladimir Vasilenko who is a representative of Ukraine’s Human Right. All the experts involved have a broad knowledge of the topic of discussion hence their contributions were of great essence. Choudhry noted that involvement of transitional democracies that is currently ongoing was essential in the collection as well as discussion of policy options. He acknowledged that attention to presidency power, weak political parties as well as parliament’s electoral system have led to instability in the democratization of Ukraine. Sujit Choudhry a Great Constitutional Lawyer

Sujit Choudhry is the Director of the Centre for Constitutional Transitions. He joined the top experts in 10th July.The team Kiev was involved in discussions regarding the presidential system of the Ukranian government. They were also discussing the problems that affect their constitutions and even suggested procedures. The workshop that they help was attended by great people and can only be described as a think tank. Electoral assistance and the Institute for democracy attended.

Sujit Choudhry was involved in discussing executive powers regarding their country with great personalities and experts. He has also been quoted saying that the issue of democratization in Ukraine must be enforced because it has not been stable. That concentration of the power of the president, weak political parties, and the legislature electoral system are the issues that Sujit raised regarding the instability of Ukraine. During the workshop, Sujit Choudhry debated together with International IDEA summit Bisarya and Dalarna University’s great brain Thomas Sibelius. He also had the privilege to meet Vladimir Vasilenko who is a Ukraine’s representative on human rights. Sujit Choudhry is a law professor at the Berkeley School of Law. He is a prominent constitutional lawyer and has been at the UC Berkeley Schools of Law team since 2014 to the year 2016. He was also the first lucky Asian to be the dean of any American University.He has also worked at the New York University as a law professor and also worked as Scholl Chair at the University of Toronto faculty of law. Sujit Choudhry: The Distinguished Professor in Constitutional Law

Sujit Choudhry serves as the I. Michael Hayman Professor of Law at the University of California and precisely at the prestigious Berkeley School of Law. Previously, he had worked as the Dean at the school of Law in the University of California for a couple of years before assuming the role of the professor of Law.
